ive always thought he was straight
but i see what you mean
well like you said if people didn’t believe him when he said he was straight it means that every one thought he was *** so when he says he is *** every one already believes him.
I don’t ever remember him saying that he was straight. He just said that it does not matter what people think and they are free to believe what ever they want to.
We didnt’t believe him when he said he was straight because he wasn’t straight, was never straight and will never get straight. We believe him now because he’s actually being honest with himself and the world.
I don’t think Clay Aiken has ever said “I’m straight”, he’s just avoided the topic all together.
I think mainly it’s because he acts gayer than the love child of Elton John and K.D. Lang.
I couldn’t care less, but I doubt any celebrity has a reason to falsely call himself ***.
?? WHY ?? Because the guy looks and acts like a factory made prototype for homosexuality.
Same reason we all do. Fear. Face it, he was thrust upon quite an extraordinary stage of circumstance at a time when he wasn’t ready. And then when it was pushed on him he said it was rude. In fact, I think it is rude to as orientation questions in an effort to out someone. It’s a very personal thing that so many straight people just don’t understand. They can’t understand it. They’ve never experienced homophobia.
Clay Aiken has never said that he was straight..Whenever asked about his sexuality he usually said “I prefer to keep my personal life personal”,or something along those lines…..Its more likely for a celeb to reveal the truth about their sexuality, rather than lie about it, esp on the front page of a Magazine.
First of all, I don’t think Aiken ever flat-out said he wasn’t ***. While he may have avoided sexuality questions or refused to answer interviewers on the topic, this does not mean he was saying he wasn’t ***. Just that he wanted to keep his private life private.
Secondly, being straight is the easy default in this society. Being *** is a life often frought with hardships. No one would lie about being *** because societal pressures make it EXTREMELY difficult to live ‘out’. Why then would he lie about being ***? There are plenty of reasons to lie about being straight (especially coming out of a down-home semi-conservative show like American Idol), but none I can think of to lie about being ***.
OMG, what’s gonna happen to Sarah Palin now? She promised her daughter to Clay Aiken. Uhummmm…..Alaska for Clay fan club.
